Seems like a good time to start this now that the play off matches have been drawn.

Champions League play-off round:

Dinamo Zagreb v FK Austria Vienna
Ludogorets v Basle
Plzen v Maribor
Shakhtyor Karaganda v Celtic
Steaua Bucuresti v Legia Warsaw
Lyon v Real Sociedad
Schalke 04 v FC Metalist Kharkiv
Pacos Ferreira v Zenit St Petersburg
PSV v AC Milan
Fenerbahce v Arsenal

First legs to be played 20th/21st August and 2nd leg 1 week later.

A few standout ties there and a potential toughy for Arsenal, although no doubt if Fenerbahce win they will get their ban reinstated anyway!!

I hope Pacos Ferreira manage to get through, especially up against those bloody racists from Zenit.

And PSV v Milan? *Licks lips*

Hope Arsenal do one. Nice to know that Fener will be playing the scum. Supported them and Spurs since I was a little boy. :D

Metalist. Potentially tricky but we should have enough about us to qualify. Pretty happy with that. Hopefully Arsenal's games against Fenerbache go the same way as their last Turkish opponent

If any three of Lyon, Schalke, Zenit, Milan and Arsenal go through Man City will be in the third seeding pot for the group stage draw. Again.

Decision date is on the 28th, so the day the play-offs finish. Would be Arsenal's "luck" if they were dumped out but reinstated after Fenerbahce lost their appeal.

I'll start to believe all the conspiracies if it happens that Fenerbahce win the first leg and get dropped before the 2nd. Would be typical.

Metalist Kharkiv have been kicked out of the Champions League for match fixing. PAOK, who they knocked out in the Third Qualifying Round have replaced them, which might suggest if Fenerbahce get through but get kicked out Arsenal will fluke their way in. But in this instance both Metalist and PAOK entered at that stage so there is no other team who could point to being knocked out by Metalist, unlike Fenerbahce who have already knocked out Red Bull Salzburg. If it does turn out like that, then surely the fairest way to decide who goes through would be for Arsenal to play RBS. Somehow I can't envisage UEFA enforcing that.
