See how PSG just pass forward instead of passing to the keeper like us. It makes the momentum so pleasing and energetic.

PSG is so enjoyable to watch on the attack. And it's not even with Mbappe and Neymar.

Tuchel is really a great coach.

They attack in a similar way to how Ajax have been recently - when they get possession they have three immediately push forward to support and with such dire ball retention from Madrid they're bossing it.

I wanted Trippier to go but he is doing well at Atletico. Im glad he is doing well...

I guess some of us wanted him to go on the assumption we would get someone in... instead we are playing a CB

That 3rd PSG was something else, the composure shown by the two full backs was brilliant.

Atletico / Juve was an excellent watch. Trippier very good :cautious: set up the last min equaliser with a great corner :cautious::cautious:

He has been brilliant in Atletico Madrid so far. A threat forward and very solid defensively. Makes you wonder if we're doing something wrong, cause players like Kane and Alli doesn't look as good as they used to do, just like Trippier did last season. And once he leave us, he looks really good.

True. A couple of days I read the article in the Winks thread. Both Winks and Sissoko plays too much sideways. Last season both were in the bottom tier (in the whole league) regarding progressive passes. More defensive minded players like Fabinho and Fernandinho made more progressive passes than Winks.

That need to change. I don't know if it's a player problem or a manager problem.

Probably why our attackers have really suffered. It takes them an age to receive the ball.

Hate to say it because it was world class but I think it was right Bale's goal was chalked off. He clearly controls the ball with his arm however negligible the action had on the ball. I'd assumed from reports that the contact with his arm was accidental - it wasn't.

And I'm really worried if their forms are not picking up soon. Other teams will know how to get the best out of them.

I'd be amazed if we have more than 2 more seasons of Harry Kane if we don't win anything. He'll want some medals soon.

That was offside VAR done right. No ludicrous lines drawn on the screen by a fat fingered jobsworth.

If that happened in the PL, it would probably have been ruled out (similar to the Aurier goal).

Don’t understand why the PL’s version of VAR differs from UEFA’s version. I’m still pissed off that the PL ref’s allow the VAR officials to make the final decisions on some incidents. Shouldn’t they just be assisting the refs instead of making the decisions on behalf of the refs. And FFS, use the pitchside VAR screens in unclear cases.
