Some classic shithousery from Valencia at Ajax. Epic timewasting and cheating - Gabriel, the former Arsenal player at the centre of it.

Scenes in Lyon. Minutes after the club qualify, Lyon players get into a fight with their own ultras.

Flag got out saying « Marcelo get out » aimes at centreback, which depay seemed to take exception to. He rushes over to fans who run towards pitch and there’s an altercation. Stewards and police dive in. Players rush in.

Calmed down now. Lopes and Aouar (both came through academy) calm things down with ultras.

Wild that Napoli sacked their manager after winning their CL game and progressed to the knockout stage.

I know they lost a lot of games prior to this but the timing wow.

The board's management is in chaos and disarray.

Ancelotti and the players have been openly in conflict with the club president for several weeks, it isn't very surprising. Expect Napoli to look a very different side next season, if not already after January. The president has basically decided to get rid of everyone and not renew any expiring contracts as he feels they've disrespected him. Total madhouse.

I don't know about anybody else but I quite like this "securing progression with matches to spare" lark. It would be preferable if we still had a shout of winning the group but because we don't and we can't not qualify, there's absolutely zero pressure on the players tonight. I can't wait to see who plays and how they play.

Partly why the papers are linking Koulibaly to us then maybe.

Yep. Koulibaly, Mertens, Insigne, Allan and Callejon all expected to leave in January or the summer. A couple of them have contracts that are expiring and can negotiate freely in January.
