A tie that won't immediately stick out but should be very exciting is Porto v Malaga, also agree that Shaktar V Dortmund should be awesome.

haha. The British clubs, the Ingurlish ones in particular, have been royally bent over this yr. Citeh won't have the advantage they though they'd have. Only two extra games for Yanited this yr.

Also, I know it's a 5 yr cycle (or it was the last time I checked) but how damaging would this season be the prem clubs' coefficient if we got nobody into the last 8 of the CL?

Not exactly a surefire thing that the prem clubs will get into the last 16 of the EL tbf.

out of interest why are Pool seeded and we're not? we've got a better record in Europe in the last 5 years.

Because they're an amazing world class club.

Because they won their group and we didn't win ours. Nothing to do with coefficients or anything.

It's definitely not a given that United go out. They are still one of the best teams in the world and have world class players. It will be a great game with a lot of goals imo - two world class attacks vs two weak defenses.

The Bayern - Arsenal games should be very good too but expect Bayern to win. The Dortmund vs Shakhtar game looks very promising.

it's a shame that Milan have sank so far because normally a Milan - Barca draw would be one of the draws of the round.

True. The yanited-real tie looks the closest. Yanited's defence is far leakier than Real's though. Yanited have conceded well over 20 goals already. That's assnal last season type defending. They'll score goals for sure. I reckon Real will have too much for them up front though. Should be hugely entertaining, if not exactly vintage football.

Rangers are letting Juve use their training facilities before they play Celtic.

I assume we will give the keys to Hotspur Way to Bayern? :)
