Thought it would be good to start a thread for all the build-up to the final which will be coming in the next few weeks.

Here's some already.

We've been selected as the "home" team for the final, but bizarrely Liverpool get the home dressing room.

Also, Liverpool are going to Spain for a week-long training camp next week. I wonder if we'll do the same and head to Barcelona?

So we're the home team but get away dressing room, how does that work exactly?

Anyway, was thinking about it and this is our very last chance to keep the trophy a decade run going isn't it?

We say the players have three weeks 'rest' to look forward to, but I suspect a few of Poch's triple training sessions will feature before the final.....

One thing I hope we use this preparation time to work on is defending at set pieces.

and practice taking them...although I do worry Eriksen has used up this season's quota of successful set pieces against Everton...

Any reason for us being the home team getting the away changing room? Just does not add up

Let's not sweat the small stuff. Beating the Entitled Ones will be wonderful. They can go back to their changing room and charge their phones or something.

Security reasons due to where fans are supposedly. It doesn’t matter anyway, it’s hardly a big deal. The away changing rooms are crap most places we play at I’m sure

Amazing to think that just when it looked like we’d go the whole decade without a trophy for the first time in a long long time, we have this unexpected CL final appearance to salvage it at the very last moment.

Hard not to daydream that perhaps the footballing gods saw us fall short near the final or semi final hurdle on so many occasions in the 10s just to save up this incredible prize for us at the very last possible match

So I won’t ?

Win it and we can add the UEFA Super Cup and World Club Championship before the decade closes.

From what I can see they’re saying security concerns over the fans so they’re basically rewarding Liverpool for having scummy fans who throw bricks at team busses and throw locals into fountains...

Well done UEFA top marks for fighting the good fight yet again

In the grand scheme of things away or home dressing rooms won’t matter.

If anything a small basic room might create a more together atmosphere, rather than a plush spaced one. But hardly something to be bothered about either way!

Basically UEFA and the Spanish authorities have no clue on how to handle this. They still believe it’s the 1970’s/80’s and the English scum are there to be herded around an treated with disdain.

Keeping the fans separated on the way to the stadium...what a load of bollocks. There’ll be Tottenham and Liverpool drinking and partying with each other in the days leading up to and also on the day/night itself. I’m meeting up with at least 6 Liverpool fans I know for a session when there.

This isn’t Tottenham - Chelsea or Liverpool - United. All those in control seem to be doing is trying to cause grief if anything!
