Wingbacks = ideal scenario for Sessegnon. He’s quick, has attacking intent and would give us balance. Strange as to why he hasn’t made the team/bench the last few games.

my sense is Jose thinks Sessegnon is too timid at the moment but seems like today could be an injury

Just having players on the pitch isn't exactly a "strategy" is it?

Up until now Mourinho has been going with 4-4-2 with Dele the fulcrum and Serge getting high and putting crosses in. Neither of those payers are playing today so that strategy has been changed up. It's hardly a crime to wonder what Mourinho has in mind is it?

it wasn’t down to fatigue. it was the exact same pen he gave away in the juventus away game. he’s sometimes just a bit slow to react, and also lacks a bit of awareness.

Let's not forget that he was up against Timo Werner, one of the world's top strikers, who is every bit as adept as Harry Kane at using his unpredictable movement to get a penalty.

Everyone here, just like all the journalists, always discusses who has been "dropped", despite Mourinho having made it amply clear a week ago that he would be rotating where he can rotate because of our three matches in a week.

He made the point when emphasising that he was unable to get any rest for Lucas or Bergwijn.

I don’t think Dele was dropped for his reaction. I think he was dropped because he can’t play that role. Maybe if he was bang in form he could but he isn’t. Personally I have zero problem with his reaction, at least he gives a shit.

We could be going into tomorrow's game in 8th and come out of it 4th some incentive eh! I guess we could come out of it still 8th but let's not go there.

Chelsea are dropping and won't make top four, it's the others we need to be concerned with. A win today will be massive for us in our current circumstances so I will wear my optimistic hat, if I can find it.
