Understandable setting up to frustrate in a 2 legged tie but against Chelsea we dont need to play like that. Be organised sure but we should be getting in to them from the off.

Doesn't help that we were shit on the ball until Lamela came on.

We’re so shit! Poch saw this coming, too many of these players are not good enough

Yes Jose it’s really bad that both Kane and Son is injured but he has no idea how to make us create chances. He just hopes one of the attacking players creates something by its own. We still have creative players we should have a better attack. Last season we also had a lot of injuries but Poch still found a way to create chances. I’m not blaming Mourinho on everything because too many of these players aren’t good enough but Jose has to stop moaning. Everyone got angry towards Poch for moaning but Jose is already saying stuff like he has no one and he wish it was July 1 already

Today we started with 2 CB’s who are finished, 1 CB playing RWB, Davies who just came back from injury and no Son & Kane. The only reason I thought we could get at least a point is because Chelsea had a poor starting 11

That was dreadful, we're so much better than this regardless of Son and Kane being injured. We set up in a way which just allowed them to do what they pleased.

I thought it was reasonable enough to drop Aurier given that crosses aren't a great outlet but to then find out he was dropped and we still insisted on a back 5 with 5 pure defenders, not wing backs was dissappointing. Even though we ended up with 5 defenders we still allowed them to get behind again and again, its not good enough.

Having a top 2 of Moura/Bergwijn was pointless, Bergwijn yet again couldn't get in the game and it's not their fault, I wouldn't ask a fish to climb a tree and I don't expect those two to lead the line. Why we don't at least try and have a player for those two wingers to play off instead of the pointless additional CB I don't know.

During our wins we rode our luck but you accept it because we need results but the last 2 games have been crap, we have enough quality in the team to be better than this.

Sorry but Kane is a huge part of the problem. Undroppable for all the wrong reasons meaning we have no back up as no one will come. Tell Me now we would be worse off with Piątek or Giroud.
That's bollocks, pay them enough and they will come.

A major rebuilding job is needed in the summer. For me it should start with hiring a new manager who actually lives and operates in the present century.
Football from the 80s and mind games from the 90s can only get you so far. Every game under Mou with the possible exception of City at home feels like we're avoiding heavy defeat by sheer luck, and flashes of individual talent. One of those opponents will surely score seven against us when everything clicks for them. Wolves next week being a prime candidate.
Plus our football is unwatchable even when we're winning, and the whole squad looks demoralised.
Of course it is not Mou`s fault that the squad has so many holes and injuries, but we're obviously going backwards, and all joy of watching Spurs play is gone.
I didn't want to winner this as I was originally behind Mourinho 100%, but i will winner this post. To some extent I still am behind him, but my support is waning fast. I'm so bored with Spurs at the moment. In the past, defeats like this would ruin my day but now I shrug and forget about it very quickly. What has happened to my club.

We played three games in a matter of a week, however, we did not show too much fatigue. We miss not having a striker, Levy to blame. Mourinho did say he could do with another striker in the January transfer. Looks difficult for us to get top four. End of the day, the better team won.

Mourinho up to now has been pretty decent tactically. Today was fucking awful. 5 at the back had to end at half time, it doesn't even work unless the fullbacks are decent getting forward. Vertonghen staying on despite being a liability. So so long to make a change. So so long to get Alli on. Then Aurier of all people. If Aurier is your answer to being 2 down with 20 mins to go then you know you've got fucking problems.

Any chance we can skip the Poch vs Mourinho in every single fucking thread? I didn't want him to get the boot but it's done - leave it alone now please!

This season is the stuff of nightmares; I can’t believe how bad we have become in such a short space of time.

It’s not a short space of time though is it. It’s been going on nearly two years.

Troble is, I've no idea what the answer is and I’m not sure the club do either which is really concerning.

Did anybody notice what Giroud and Abraham did, well they did that because they are forwards, we were second best all game but make no mistake not having that striker done for us. It did for us on Wednesday and it will continue to do for us for the rest of the season.
