Sad to hear this as I like Chrissy. Now he has been dragged into the ongoing disaster at Newcastle. I suppose they realised they needed someone who could actually coach football, as opposed to just talk and unsuccessfully try to motivate players.

Chis needs to move on to the top job at a lower level and work up from there. Cannot keep carrying the clipboard and putting out cones.

MrsK you clearly know fuck all in this instance I haven't been able to find anything that confirms that hughton has joined the toon apart from a bbc sport article that suggests he will be appointed first team coach but, isn't in place yet.. :roll:

And even if he were in place, the idea that he could have sorted out the shambles that is the Barcodes defence inside 24 hours is totally ludicrous. But ludicrous is, of course, MrsK territory.
