We don't have to play with a No. 9. - Kane isn't a traditional No.9 anyway.
What we need is someone who can finish. Benteke is not a finisher to any extent.

Is Parrott not worth a run?

'Spurs have even been offered the chance to sign Crystal Palace flop Christian Benteke'

Wow. Thanks. That is such a generous offer. Hard pass, though.

Palace just signed Tosun on loan so makes sense they would want to try and palm off Benteke on someone else.

If Benteke pulls on the shirt I will probably not bother watching us play.
.
I live for every minute of our matches but this cannot be.

Laughing stock - is Frazier Campbell still mobile ?

???? we are not signing benteke. I bet there’s a load of mugs on twitter believing it though.

Typical little shit stirring dig from Matt Law at the bottom of this article too. He can’t help himself.

“Mourinho stressed that he agreed to his new set of circumstances in the transfer market when he agreed to take the job, but suggested it should be Levy and not him who was questioned about signings.”

This was who came to mind yesterday when Herc said some people would get wound up by the names being discussed. To be fair he was good for like 1 season 6 years ago...

We've been offered, right? Not we've put a bid in for him ... Am I missing something? Some of you do it to yourselves.

Won't score goals, but have other strenghts, if he's our only option for the rest of the season then we're likely better off with him than without. Son, Dele and Lucas have a lot of goals in them for an attacking midfield line up - holding the ball up can benefit our play more than just a pure goal poacher. If we continue to send the ball forward and it immediately returns as an attack against us then we'll be in for a very poor end to the season.

Not the dream, but won't be totally against it neither if money is spent on our other crisis positions.

Think it's a matter of getting the head around that we're in a shitty situation

I wish we’d just go in and try convince Rondon to come back to England with the wage cap coming in. He’d do a job for sure

Rarely have I seen a forward with so few abilities as Benteke. He’s utterly useless
