He's really not that good. He needs about 15 chances to score 1 goal and his link up play is average at best.
he has just turned 22. he is hardly the finished article. scored some good goals, missed some sitters. Certainly will get better imo! He's really not that good. He needs about 15 chances to score 1 goal and his link up play is average at best.
Who would stay at Villa now? They probably have the most boring team in the league. N'Zogbia and Benteke the only good players left there.I don't see Villa selling him, they really need him right now and they would definitely want profit on the 7.5 million they spent on him. I'd like to see how he performs for the remainder of this season and next season, to see if he is the real deal.

I understand that, but if we came in with a good offer, they have to consider it, and the player would like to come, I guess. To answer your question...players who are under contract and that the club do now want to sell.
Let's buy Benteke and Lukaku up front. Our long term strikers are secured. Coulibaly coming back from loan in Italy in some time as well.
WBA have Lukaku on loan now. If we put in a bid, we could get it accepted.it just seems so easy when you put it like this.
lets buy messi and ronaldo as well, i cant see it being a problem.

If they don't consider an offer, the player will be upset, and that is a bad move for the club anyway. In cases like that, the player can put in a transer request.Actually no, they are under no obligation to consider any offer unless there is a buy out clause.

Benteke is a player we have a chance to get. We also have belgian players at the club.
Cannot compare it with Ronaldo and Messi. What is that?
Villa will probably want 15 million for Beneteke because this is England and they'd want to make a profit. I am sure you'd agree that doesn't represent good value and there is no way Levy will pay that.I understand that, but if we came in with a good offer, they have to consider it, and the player would like to come, I guess.
Good question. It is not easy to value him based on the previous transfer fee, but he is a long term striker option, and is worth at least £13 mill. That should not be a problem for us. I don't know if Chelsea would be eager to sell, though.....Would Chelsea really sell Lukaku to us? his initial fee was £13m rising to £18m, as you are all about good value for money SK, what would you value Lukaku at?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...give-Andre-Villas-Boas-Chelsea-treatment.htmlwe have more chance of getting a bid accepted by Barca or Real than Chelsea selling a player to us.
