I don't see Villa selling him, they really need him right now and they would definitely want profit on the 7.5 million they spent on him. I'd like to see how he performs for the remainder of this season and next season, to see if he is the real deal.

He's really not that good. He needs about 15 chances to score 1 goal and his link up play is average at best.
he has just turned 22. he is hardly the finished article. scored some good goals, missed some sitters. Certainly will get better imo!

Who would stay at Villa now? They probably have the most boring team in the league. N'Zogbia and Benteke the only good players left there.

He will obviously get better, very hit and miss but that's understandable as he's a young player playing in a shite team in his first PL compaign but the potential is there absolutely no question about that.

To answer your question...players who are under contract and that the club do now want to sell.

Let's buy Benteke and Lukaku up front. Our long term strikers are secured. Coulibaly coming back from loan in Italy in some time as well.

I understand that, but if we came in with a good offer, they have to consider it, and the player would like to come, I guess.

WBA have Lukaku on loan now. If we put in a bid, we could get it accepted.
Benteke is a player we have a chance to get. We also have belgian players at the club.

Cannot compare it with Ronaldo and Messi. What is that?

Actually no, they are under no obligation to consider any offer unless there is a buy out clause.

Would Chelsea really sell Lukaku to us? his initial fee was £13m rising to £18m, as you are all about good value for money SK, what would you value Lukaku at?

If they don't consider an offer, the player will be upset, and that is a bad move for the club anyway. In cases like that, the player can put in a transer request.

we have more chance of getting a bid accepted by Barca or Real than Chelsea selling a player to us.

Villa will probably want 15 million for Beneteke because this is England and they'd want to make a profit. I am sure you'd agree that doesn't represent good value and there is no way Levy will pay that.

Good question. It is not easy to value him based on the previous transfer fee, but he is a long term striker option, and is worth at least £13 mill. That should not be a problem for us. I don't know if Chelsea would be eager to sell, though.....

Chelsea wouldn't sell Lukaku full stop, I know they do some really stupid things when it comes to transfers but they were coveting Lukaku for 2 years before they brought him and are lining him up to be their next Drogba.

Hmmm, let me remind you of one Luka Modric...wanted to leave...club refused to sell...player had another great season with no transfer request handed in. You do realise that if a player hands in a request they then lose out on a fair bit of money. So much so that transfer requests being handed in doesn't happen that often. Benteke has only just arrived at Villa...why in the good name of fuck would they honestly want to sell him, especially considering the situation they are in since he could literally make the difference between survival or relegation.

Life just does not work as simply as your brain does!!

Benteke has been decent, but there is no point trying to buy him now - still quite a risk imo and won't be on the cheap as villa need him.
--> Better off making a bid in the summer, especially if they get relegated! I don't believe he will offer much more than defoe / dempsey / ade at the moment.
--> Lukaka is HIGHLY unlikely imo - he hes been reported to be happy at WBA and wants to go on loan there again next season potentially. Secondly chelsea payed a lot for him and as he is developing well, why would they sell him to one of their rivals offering a lowball offer?
