Personally if this is true seems a bit pointless to me as he’s not really the required level, especially in a back four.
Even as a back up player i’m not sure if id be massively comfortable with him in say a cup game (although I seriously hope we don't play silly disjointed line-ups in those competitions next season).
Unless perhaps he’s being looked at as a left back tucking into middle, although we have Udogwie to come in and 8s till believe in Reggy so they seem better options.
