Surprised at some of the reading in there, also surprised that all our itk accountants haven't run their eyes over this.

My takeaway from that is that ourselves, Goons and United are the most sustainable clubs.

City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester are the least sustainable until you remember that the pots of gold clasped by the owners of the first two are near bottomless.

Are player sales part of "operations"? It wasn't obvious to me if they were or not.

I'm sure this has been done to death elsewhere, but does anyone have a clear idea of how much of the stadium has already been paid for and how much still needs to be paid for? I can see from those figures that we have spent a huge amount on infrastructure, but it's not clear how much of that is on the stadium and how much is the training ground etc.

Opposition fans constantly go on about how we're going to need to have a ten year period of austerity while we pay for our stadium, similarly to Arsenal's situation when they built the Emirates. It seems to me that we've been on a pretty austere spending regime for about ten years as it is. Do we know whether we've made a significant dent in the costs of the stadium already?

Training ground to date has probably cost around £100m.

90% of City's funds are from the owners... How have they not been absolutely slaughtered by FFP rules already? Joke club.

I think what it shows is, that Chelsea spend vast amounts of money just running the day-to-day business of the club, probably player wages being the by far largest expenditure post, along with massive compensation to sacked managers.

joke rules, ffp hasn't made much difference, they do what they want and find ways around it

Well according to those graphs Chelsea operating income is pretty minimal if I'm reading it right, unless that is net because they spend it all, I guess that might be the purchase of so many young players to then sell which would confirm what I always said that they run the player buying and selling as a seperate business nothing to di with the club's playing requirements.
The other thing that caught my eye was the total loan figure for Spurs over the last ten years is £148million which is some way less than the reported total cost of the stadium build.

It's the net cash inflow from operations (not including player trading). Likely due to a very poor wage to turnover ratio at the club.

Really interesting to me that aside from the top tier clubs all the clubs that have spent more than us have been relegated at least once in the last ten years, and only Leicester have had any success. Those are some really badly run clubs.

Also shows how obscene City’s spending is. Vile club that only serves to launder the reputation of a brutal little kingdom.

Remember the last full financials we've had were up to june 2017. So the loans will be higher, think we got another £200m out late last year.
Our next full financials should be out in the next coulple of months so we should have a clearer idea then what the stadium has cost us.

I think the latest was that we had increased our limit on the revolving credit facility to £400m. I don't think we'll have a complete picture on the cost until a year's time when everything has been re-financed with long-term debt. I could be wrong though.
