This has truth ...... but only if you ignore the revolving door managerial situation in numerous other clubs . Poch was with us 5 years , almost unheard of among the bigger clubs . So no, not really .
Please don’t use facts to contradict arguments on SC.

Indeed. Pochettino was outright the longest serving of the top club managers, followed by Klopp, then Guardiola. He was in charge of us longer than Emery, Lampard and Solskjaer combined at their clubs. He was also in charge of us longer than Lampard, Sarri, Solskjaer and Mourinho combined at their respective clubs.

I will forever be grateful for what Pochettino achieved and take pleasure in remembering and rewatching the most magical moments, but since summer 2018 it’s deteriorated, first slowly but then quite dramatically. Yes, there’s the argument about lack of signings that window, and that is where Enic have to take a significant portion of the blame for Pochettino’s ultimate failing, but with the players at his disposal it should have never become as bad as it did, so speculation are fall outs or not with Levy are ultimately irrelevant because if the team performs at the level required, the manager is untouchable. Ferguson still won’t trophies while at odds with Magnier didn’t he?

It will be very interested to see where Poch goes and how he does . There's a narrative here , to which I partly subscribe, that Poch came to Spurs with an innovation in terms of pressing energy and did so well ....But it has now been widely adopted by other Prem clubs and so this particular advantage is lost ... and a successful plan B has been his problem .

This theory leaves several major factors out of the equation of course , but it will be absorbing to see how it pans out for him . I'm not convinced he has a stellar future , but wish him all the best .

Just please don’t go to a PL club Poch. I want him to smash if wherever he ends up as long as it’s not the Prem.

Ornstein knows his stuff re the scum and he says they are considering him but Matt Law who has been bang on about Poch / Jose happenings over past 2 weeks has said Poch is being advised not to take the scum job because it would ruin his legacy with us and also because he's likely to get a bigger job over next 7 months.

Would be gutted to see him join them, he always gave the impression he was one of us and had morals which would mean he wouldn't join scum or Barca. Hope he sticks to that.

Just emailed this to a mate...thought I'd stick it in here...

Interesting thing is that we have switched from a dogmatic manager to a pragmatic one .

Dogmatic Poch insisted on the keeper rolling the ball out to the defence.. ...Pragmatic Jose says this is stupid as we don't have the skills to do it .Go long

Poch insisted that Dele plays in midfield to fit his diamond scheme---Jose says no his skills aren't suited to that , he better alongside Kane

Poch insisted our backs are attackers and defenders ....Jose says Aurier is best at attack and organises cover for him...Left back stays back

Mourinho looks at what player skills he has and adapts his style to it . Opposite of 'philosophy' man Poch . Poch did very well with his philosophy tho for a good while we must remember .

In that, I agree - apart from ManU/Arsenal/Everton

But at some point, Levy will have to start spending big regularly (not just this summer) - and early, and ambitiously. We will never fully know if the lack of activity in the transfer market had a significant effect on our results.

Having Mourinho & Zahavi onboard may help (I hope)

Anyone worried he's going to end up at the Scum? Or has the Arsenal media frenzy got in my head?

Regardless of what Ornstein is saying, he's paying little credence to Poch's word and bond with us fans. Regardless of how it ended, I could never see him compromising that.

Yup basically sounds like he’s on gardening leave. I think Pochettino May have left himself a bit exposed to levy having no agent.

Maybe but I honestly think he’s needs to wait until the summer anyway.
Clearly needs to take some time to recover after a hard 5 years with us.

probably will have a pick of 2 or 3 teams too

I really believe that he’ll take the Utd job whenever that comes up. I also think that would be disastrous for him as even with unlimited funds which we know he probably wouldn’t spend anyway I don’t think he’ll get anywhere near the league whilst Pep and Klopp are here. What would happen if say in another 3 years he hasn’t won anything, that monkey on his back will be far too big. If I were him I’d take the Bayern job, hoover up some free trophies and then reassess.
