Romero was absent for Spurs' vital 3-0 win over bitter rivals Arsenal on Thursday night, which reignited their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League.

Seriously bad news, especially Romero.

It’s not good, but if we can’t beat Burnley at home and Norwich away without him then we don’t deserve CL football.

Just hope it’s an injury that clears up reasonably quickly and not a Spurs special chronic injury.

Burnley will surely be smarter than arsenal and target our right side of defence. Good athletes, but tend to panic, and weak on the ball. Hopefully they rise to the challenge and the team should have more than enough.

But if I'm Burnley, I'm planning a high level of overload to their inside left attacking lane, and using the press to make all of our passing from the back funnel to our right.

You know how this goes. Can't wait for news that Romero will need surgery and miss preseason, and then we'll be hoping he's back before Christmas.
