Wont be a popular opinion but I didn't want Europa.

Thought Mourinho would do well next year with a week to coach the team for each opponent.

Now we will spread our resources thin on thursdays and sundays.

Can see much of the same next year . We haven't the money to buy heaps of good players.

Four wins and two draws in the last six games, 14 points out of 18, our best run of the season, can't argue with that.

Is it really sure or can Arse winning FA cup and Wolves winning the EL kick us out completely?

Got what we needed but, tbh, that felt like a bit of a step back. Not particularly solid at the back. Not very convincing in midfield and never really looked threatening in attack.

Just didn't see much of an "identity" today. If we're going to be a Mourinho team I want us to look, walk and act like a Mourinho team. Hopefully we've identified targets that will make that happen next season.

Main thing is we got 6th.

Time to judge Mourinho is over summer to see if he hopefully addresses our weak areas.

Fuck me. Celebrating like we won the league. Calm down. We’re in the Thursday cup. Fairly pathetic.
100% agree.

Another shocking performance. Completely reliant on wonder strikes from Kane to get anything from a game. Offered nothing else. Outplayed by Palace on a dreadful run of form.

And Jose jumping up & down as if we've won the league. Embarrassing.

I wasn't fussed either way but now let's go and win it.

When we went up 1-0 early in the first half, I was thinking WE ARE GOING TO CRUSH THEM TODAY, WE'RE WELL UP FOR IT.

But there will he post after post after post about how crap we are. Let’s just all accept that Mou did the exact job we brought him in for which is to get European football!

Now let’s back him and see how he gets on next year.

Difference this time around is Jose will be out to win a cup. Poch didn't care about anything but the league or CL, Jose now has 4 chances to win something. We can play youth players for early matches and keep the main players fresh for the league. Europa will be a good chance for Parrott (if not loaned), Tanganga, Sessegnon and those types to get some playing time.

We were 14th when Poch was sacked. In more danger of relegation than European qualification.

We are 6th now at the end of the season confirmed of Europa. How much more could one want?
