Back next season with better CMs, hopefully. If Sissoko's still starting for us next season we'll be 8th, at best.

Goodbye to a shit season, one of the toughest in a while. Our post Covid form has been steady, rather than impressive in terms of how we’ve looked. Interestingly, this has been touted as one of Wolves better seasons yet we stole a march on them on the last day. I’m not saying that to gloss over the issues in the squad, just that Mourinho managed to steady a leaking ship.

The most important thing now is recruitment over the window. We have to replace the Winks/Sissoko huffing and puffing axis. A sensible window should get us ready for a top four challenge and a good run in a couple of the cups. Over to you now @Archibald&Crooks

Wont be a popular opinion but I didn't want Europa.

Thought Mourinho would do well next year with a week to coach the team for each opponent.

Now we will spread our resources thin on thursdays and sundays.

Can see much of the same next year . We haven't the money to buy heaps of good players.
Mourinho seems up for it - it's a trophy and pathway to a CL place.

Nerve racking 40 min . Glad that was over .

Like him or hate him, Jose done an amazing job. 14th with negative goal difference to 6th due to goal difference

Wasn’t really a blaze of glory that one, but we’re in the Europa League and have had a few good games since the league started back up. Apart from the SU, Bournemouth and this game we’ve looked pretty good and have gotten great results. It’s something to build on.
But truth be told, I’m glad the season is over.
Here’s to next year... ?

Job done with a game that has reminded us there's a lot of work to do. Perfect really in the grand scheme.

Neither do I TBH. But Mourinho seems more enthusiastic than Poch for this tournament. So I will buy his pitch and hoping to enjoy the Thursday games next season.

Not sure why Dier walks back into that team, the back 4 were fine, Son has been shit since the restart

Horrific last game of the season. There is an awful lot for Jose to work on, but replacing our two central midfielders will be a great start. I love his workrate, but if Sissoko is still starting games for us next year we have failed as a club.

Need to find a way of dictating the game from the middle and creating space for the front three/four to work in.

Absolutely, I like Sissoko for his work rate, but it really is time for an upgrade. Winks doesn't convince me either, I just don't know what he actually does other than pass the ball back where it came from. Really need PEH alongside someone who can actually move the ball forwards.

If we bottled CL the way Leicester did this season make no mistake the media would be crucifying us. But because Leicester are up there with Wolves as hipster‘s favourites barely a word will be said

It was a bit miserable, but the ends justify the means I suppose. Certainly a relief not to have to rely on the Chavs now.

Another great finish from Kane, and he finished the season superbly. But this team needs major changes in the coming weeks. If not, next season will be worse than this.

Job done I guess though. And European football next season................COYS!!

Now I’m going to pray every night that we see a motivated and fit tanguy next season. He is the huge X factor next season. If he shows his true self and ability from Lyon, that’s going to be huge for us. Would be like a new signing (lol) if he delivers, and should he deliver, we have the best young midfielder in Europe bar de jong.
