Same shit, different day. But we're in Europe so that's okay isn't it?

I found the celebration by our coaching staff embarrassing. I know we've gone from 14th to 6th since they took over, and I know that our goals against record is much improved. But there is only one reason why we have finished sixth and got into Europe: Harry Kane. He has either made or scored just about all of our goals since the re-start. Without him we'd be tenth at best.

Hoping for better next season.
We're going to use Kane as the reason why we're lucky? We were using him as a reason to bash Mourinho and his tactics recently saying he wouldn't get service and Mourinho would ruin him ...

Can't keep up.

I feel the celebrating was definitely for the benefit of the Amazon documentary.

which makes my point.PR.

PR? Or a desire to win which as a club we have lacked for over 30 years?

We really have such a low bar as a club that playing good football and being a well run club is what we used to have to brag about.

no. We will still qualify for EL.

If Arsenal wins the FA Cup and Wolves win the EL, the only difference for us is that we would have to play in the KO rounds instead of going directly into the group stage.

It is only 7 in Europe.

The maximum number of English teams in UEFA competitions is seven.

Well we scraped a draw and scraped into sixth. I feel sorry for Wolves and Sheffield United who were much better than us but suffered after lockdown.

Actually I feel sorry that our levels have fallen so far so quickly but will always have the memories of what we were for a few seasons.

Very boring game but no point rehashing the mourinho debate as he will be here no matter what next season now.

I thought our midfield two frustratingly lacked quality. Sissoko was at his best at times defensively and worst on the ball whilst winks offers so little at times.

Looking forward to next season

I will be shocked if we keep hold of Kane this transfer window. I think levy saying we won’t be selling any big names is just a bluff to bump the price up

Which is why Poch was sacked. And fair enough.

Yes, however we finished 7th off fourth - which means that wiping the slate clean on it all, we have outperformed the top-four by 4 points since then.

BS stats and causality problems aside, 4 points above fourth is a comfortable 3rd in the final table.

So I don't think we should/could moan about our final position, form, or points.

So, to confirm, if Wolves win the Europa and Arse the FA Cup we don't qualify for Europe
No. Wolves would get a CL place from UEFA per their rules like the ESPN journalist tweeted above. Arsenal would get the 7th and final place that's been given to the FA. The FA has seven European places but if Wolves win the EL then they won't count as one of those seven.

And if Arsenal win the cup we will have to go through three EL qualifying rounds before the group stage.
