BS stats and causality problems aside, 4 points above fourth is a comfortable 3rd in the final table.

I remember that game a few years back, early in Klopp’s reign, when Liverpool drew a game he took them to the home crowd and made them celebrate. Seventh gets Europa because the place for winning the League Cup would have gone to City, but they're in the CL so the that place goes to the next highest league team. Sixth goes into the group stage and seventh into the qualifying rounds, UNLESS the Goons win the Cup, then they'll get the group stage and we'll be in the qualifiers. Then seventh doesn't get a place and Wolves miss out.

If Wolves win the Europa they'll be in the CL, making five from England. Europa qualification is unaffected.
