I will be shocked if we keep hold of Kane this transfer window. I think levy saying we won’t be selling any big names is just a bluff to bump the price up
We will definitely get one more season out of him, after that maybe but going nowhere at the moment.

We will be playing European football for the 11th successive season next term after picking up a vital point against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

Aurier and Davies as well. But I don't even think we'll look at LB.

I watched some of one of the recent Southampton game and thought KWP looked decent (Southampton had most of the ball though). Hope he gets re-evalued before we let him go.

Poor performance to finish a poor season. Really surprised with the celebrations at the final whistle. As some one mentioned earlier maybe they were bit staged for the documentary.

Very much over to Daniel Levy now to back his man in the transfer market and get the players who he wants and hopefully get rid of the likes Aurier and Sissoko.

Yes, however we finished 7th off fourth - which means that wiping the slate clean on it all, we have outperformed the top-four by 4 points since then.

BS stats and causality problems aside, 4 points above fourth is a comfortable 3rd in the final table.

So I don't think we should/could moan about our final position, form, or points.
2 of the top 4 have have had their concentrations of the champions league for quite a few games.

Seemed really weird that Jose and his coaching staff were celebrating so hard after the final whistle. The skeptic in me feels it may have been done for the benefit of the Amazon documentary to make it look like a successful season? I’ll take 6th though after the start we had.
I remember that game a few years back, early in Klopp’s reign, when Liverpool drew a game he took them to the home crowd and made them celebrate. Everyone took the p*ss out of them but it’s just another element of forging the right mentality. Jose definitely thinks he can win the Europa and that draw today is the first step towards that.

Just wait until you have to figure out which country the teams we will be playing are from.

arsenals group had germany belgium and portugal. Celtic had Romania italy france. Rangers had portugal holland switzerland. Wolves had Turkey Portugal and slovakia and United had Holland, Serbia and Kazakhstan. Of the lot united were the only ones who had some far flung trips. This myth about the teams in the Europa is ridic. Only annoying thing is the final has been moved to Poland so i will have to cancel my hotel in Seville now.

Villa staying up and Leicester missing out on cl, perfect day. (Except our performance against crystal barcelona haha)

I'd rather Leicester in the CL than ManU. ManU are already attractive enough for top players without CL football too.

It is only 7 in Europe.

The maximum number of English teams in UEFA competitions is seven.
Wrong.
So, to confirm, if Wolves win the Europa and Arse the FA Cup we don't qualify for Europe
Wrong.
Yes. If they win the cup then 7th doesn't get Europa.
Wrong.

Seventh gets Europa because the place for winning the League Cup would have gone to City, but they're in the CL so the that place goes to the next highest league team. Sixth goes into the group stage and seventh into the qualifying rounds, UNLESS the Goons win the Cup, then they'll get the group stage and we'll be in the qualifiers. Then seventh doesn't get a place and Wolves miss out.

If Wolves win the Europa they'll be in the CL, making five from England. Europa qualification is unaffected.

It was a joke ?

I consider the EL a joke as well of course, as I don't get what you actually win, but hey that is the structure and for some reason others do care so then I don't mind. Better than not playing in it.

You win a trophy, which would be nice after 12 (13 next summer) years without one.

And a seat at the CL table the season after of course.
