Well we scraped a draw and scraped into sixth. I feel sorry for Wolves and Sheffield United who were much better than us but suffered after lockdown.

Actually I feel sorry that our levels have fallen so far so quickly but will always have the memories of what we were for a few seasons.
You're a fucking bundle of happiness aren't you?

Spurs are guaranteed Europa but with various scenarios:
Spurs 6th = Europa Group stage
Wolves win EL = Spurs 2nd rnd Qualifier
Arsenal win Fa Cup = Spurs 2nd rnd Qualifier
Chelsea win FA Cup = Spurs in group stage

You win a trophy, which would be nice after 12 (13 next summer) years without one.

And a seat at the CL table the season after of course.

Like the Peace Cup?

You are not the best in Europe that season. You are just randomly the 16th or maybe 19th best team in Europe.

That is a bit off topic though. Most people disagree with me on this and I'm fine with that. For me it is just like the Johnsons paint trophy or whatever that used to be called.

Im sure the Wolves and Sheff United fans would have felt sorry for us if we had failed to qualify for the Europa League NOT .
I prefer to have a fuck em attitude as I am sure they would send no sympathy our way in any circumstances .

I'd rather Leicester in the CL than ManU. ManU are already attractive enough for top players without CL football too.
That’s my point. United will always be up near the top, and my point is that I don’t want Leicester being another team we have to compete with for top 4 next season. They’ve ended the season on such a sour note, and I have a feeling they’ll regress massively next season, and couple that with the fact they don’t have the ability to attract top players without CL, I think it’s great that Leicester most likely won’t be fighting near the top next season.

It's a god damned European trophy that we haven't won since 1984, and we haven't won anything in 12 years.

I think it's completely mad to belittle it.

I'd rather win the Europa than finished a distant 3rd or 4th any season.

Chelsea and Man U seemed to like it as a filler / gateway to CL.

Agree with the other three, but are you sure about that one?

If Wolves win the EL they go into the CL. If they don't, they miss out on Europe next season. Why would either affect whether we play in the EL qualifying round or go straight to the group stage?

I'm sure if we would be more attractive than Leicester if a player had to make a choice between the 2 though we dont currently have CL.
