REFEREE: ---- - ??????? Andre Marriner

TEAM FORM: ----- Palace LLLLL ----- Spurs WDWWW ---
(All Competitions)

Crystal Palace have lost their last nine Premier League (PL) games against us, their longest ever losing streak against an opponent in their top flight history. When playing their last league match of a season at home, Palace have won their last four final day matches (excluding play-offs), including all three in the PL in that time.

Only bottom side Norwich (0) have won fewer PL points since the restart than Palace (3). Only Norwich (9) are on a longer current losing run in the competition than the Eagles. Palace are on course to becoming just the eighth team to go through an entire PL season without scoring more than twice in a match - the Eagles would be the first side to do so without being relegated.

We have won our last nine PL games against Palalce - in our top flight history we have only won more consecutively against Birmingham (10 between 1960-64). We have won our last seven PL against Palace without conceding a single goal - in English top flight history, only Liverpool have won more straight games against an opponent while keeping a clean sheet each time (9 vs West Brom between 2002-10).

Only Chelsea (16) have won more points than us in the PL London derbies this season (13). Meanwhile Palace have lost just one of their last five league London Derbies at home (W2 D2), though it was in their last such match v Chelsea.

Our last four PL matches on the final day have produced a total of 27 goals (F15 A12), with us winning two, drawing one and losing one. We have won four of our last five PL games (D1), as many as we had in our previous 13. We are looking to secure four consecutive P victories for the first time since February 2019.

Our Kane has scored six goals in five appearances on the final day of PL seasons. Of the 487 players to have played in five such matches, he has the fourth best minutes per goal ratio on the closing day (one every 72 minutes), behind only Yakubu (44), Theirry Henry (64), and Matt Le Tissier (67).

Never like playing Hodgson teams, so I'm expecting another difficult game that could prove too much for us unless our attitude is right, so it's a test of Jose as much as the players.

Thanks for the season @Bulletspur .

Confident of a win based on previous results for both teams. Looks like Hodgson got his excuses in early after the Wolves game saying the players who played are all he has left and are clearly incredibly fatigued. None of their injured players are due to return.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Every game is a test for Jose I’d say.

Thanks team. I always enjoy the stats.

Pre-lockdown we had only 4 clean sheets in the league. The four clean sheets post iso, has been such a lift.

Seeing Harry in full beast mode last week, has been enough for me to see hope. With a short pre-season, hopefully Harry doesn’t flatten out too much.

Would love for us to finish the season with more of the same.

Final match fixture against a team with very poor form and has nothing to play for? 5-1 to Crystal Palace it is!

I've just been listening to a palace fan talk about their form. Even though they lost the games vs utd and chelsea they apparently matched them through the game.

If I remember most of our recent matches we have edged with a late winner.

Apparently benteke got suspended vs villa and he was doing well in the heskey hold up role so he will be a miss for them.

They have a number of key players out and their form is garbage.

We should batter them.

COYS!!!

Or Spurs them. I know which is more likely from experience!

I watched their game against Man U and if it wasn’t for the dodgy officiating they would of won that game. They were on top for long periods and should of had a penalty. Similarly they had a good goal chalked off against Villa then went on to lose and we know how being denied a certain goal by a dodgy VAR decision can effect a team. They could of won both those games so I think this match is far from a foregone conclusion. More likely is Aurier giving a penalty away against the quick feet of Zaha and his propensity to chuck himself on the floor when touched in the area.

See if Mourinho reverts back to 2 in CM now Dele's fit again. I hope to God he doesn't since our recent form has been built on a much more solid midfield setup.

Palace haven't scored against us in the league for a number of years, they have injuries and the players they do have available are on the beach. This should be an easy win by at least 3 clear goals, but it'll probably be a borefest 1-0, that's not a slight on Jose as that seems to have been the way the last few games at selhurst park.
