First highlights video of a potential recruit I have watched which has left me unimpressed. Looks slow, tends to look sideways more than forwards and a lot of his passes were surprisingly lacking in accuracy.

Probably means he will be a superstar :)

Starting to warm-up to the idea of an Eriksen & Ceballos swap deal. Only if we get N'dombele and hopefully GLC. Our CM and AM positions would be well stacked with those three.

Asensio and Ceballos for Eriksen, call it a day. Winner for both sides, we need youth and depth and Eriksen wants RM.

I think Ceballos has plenty of potential and I guess it could work for us if we get LoCelso and Ndombele if LoCelso could fill Eriksens space. Ceballos could then compete for a CM spot but we'd be pretty stacked there. Doubt we'd get Asensio though.

Gus Poyet interviewed yesterday: "It's very complicated. With my mentality, of more than 50 years, I would stay in Madrid. But there are things that I do not know, and Madrid is unique. The main thing is that he is wanted by Pochettino."

Compilation vs Italy - great goal - reminds of Winks but Ceballos tends to thrive in the attacking third more.

Compilation vs Poland - shitty music included. Great freekick , some nice touches and passes.

He’s been fantastic in the U21s, excellent movement, creative especially in tight spaces against a packed defence, looks more mobile than Eriksen, quick feet and can shoot. If Eriksen is to go I hope we’re revisiting our original dismissal of links to Ceballos. Lo Celso and Ceballos could be our versions of the 2 Silva’s at City.

I signed him on FM once and he was amazing. On that basis alone I want him. It was for juventus though and not us!

The clips above do look good. We need another central midfielder with a bit of culture though don’t we?

Personally we should see what's going to happen with Onomah. I don't see anything special in Ceballos that Onomah can't do.

He isn’t bad but hoping it’s more to just push Betis on GLC rather than a genuine plan B. Fear it’s the latter though as I still can’t believe we’d spunk 130m on Lo Celso and Ndombele

Has Onomah done anything recently? He was injured with Sheffield Wednesday last time I looked. He seemed like he was going to be something. I saw him in an England game as a CM as he was great but have watched him at a few teams since and really seemed like he he is going nowhere whats the latest?
