Like what I've seen of him so far this season.

Also came through the Saints youth setup so has had a decent education.

I don't know how much compensation we would have to pay in the summer but I can't see Levy paying 7 now unless it will be similar

Like the idea of Ings. Attainable, English, knows where the goal is and not workshy. Go go Levy.

I would like us to sign this bloke. Young and english, and also not a such big name to take Kane's thunder as everyone will know that Ings is here to play "the second striker" role.

Also work hard for the team, a vital attribute for any player that want to play for Spurs under Poch.

I like the look of Ings. Very similar to Kane, but I think they would work well together. The trick would be to accommodate Eriksen too. Would need to revert to 4-4-2 I think; especially at home.

Ings is worth considering for the price but I've not seen enough of him to know if he's got the right quality. He seems hard working and highly regarded. Importantly though we will need another 2 homegrown players for next season to get out 25 man squad.

I expect Naughton, Lennon to move on, maybe even Townsend if the right offer comes along. Bentaleb will still be young enough not to be considered. So we'd only have Walker, Davies, Rose, Mason, Kane, and Townsend. Possibly Pritchard too.

This is why we're linked to players like Ings, Schneiderlin, Berhanio, Rodriguez to fill our quota.

100 percent. Why pay 7 million when we can get him for free in 6 months. He wouldnt be a first choice starter straight away so may well be paying 7 million for someone to sit on the bench

Burnley won't sell for less than £15m. They would be effectively signing their relegation death warrant.

Better for them to stay up and let him go for free in the summer.

Decent player but lacks the one thing we need most IMO .... Pace. Our current favoured front 4 aren't blessed with great Pace. Playing forward quickly, you could say direct, as we have done more recently would be far more effective with players that can threeaten in behind.

He's not lightning quick, no, but I must say I'm surprised to see this as I've actually found myself rather impressed with his combination of pace and work rate :cautious:
