I can only assume that Poch has seen something in pre-season that we haven't seen from Rose for a while.

I don't like to slag off Spurs players but Rose's attitude at times last season was diabolical, so unless he's had someone give him a firm slap about the face with a wet trout to try and sort that out, this is all very strange.

I hope Davies is first choice come August.

Hang on, wait a minute... I have been hearing for six months how he is the least professional player ever and would demand to leave as soon as another LB was signed. That's happened and he's signed a new contract?

This completely goes against everything that we have been told..admittedly even the stuff I was privy to.

awful news... seriously need better to compete with davies
This is great news for the team. It tells me how well the squad has taken to Pochettino, if the one player everyone expected to be disgruntled wants to stay and fight for time despite Davies coming in. It also increases Rose's value if we do feel the need to sell him on.

He'll be useful this season! He seems to be playing well so far under Poch so hopefully the new coaching setup is working for him. Good luck Danny!

Oh and our fans are embarrassing at times

how is it possibly good news for the team? he is quite clearly not good enough, ultimately weakening the team
