Watched Dele Alli for first time on TV , MK Dons playing Swindon. First look suggest we have got bargain buy of the year. For a kid who is only 18, he shows amazing touch & vision. Every time he received the ball in midfield, could sense somethinggood was about to happen.

The way he glides with the ball reminded me of Dembele , only Alli looks more graceful. He got a stone wall penalty turned down & missed two good chances to score. But overall, his contribution was there to see.

IMHO, talent wise he is better than any of the English midfielders playing today. Pochettino has got a great talent, lets he how he grooms Alli into a PL player.

He looks like a real talent and to be mixing it in central mid, not only mixing but scoring and dominating game at his age in a very physical league from the age he has it really impressive. Its easier for a winger or someone whos game is based on pace to make an impact at an early age but to do it as a central midfield player is rare. He has a lot in his locker and may well end up being an excellent player for us in the coming seasons

Well, stats mostly.

Dele Alli being a 18 year old has already played 80 League 1 games & has scored 20 goals & assisted 10 & created much more. Pritchard didnt have such a stat. Neither did Kane, nor did Wilshere. Barkley comes close to this having scored 4 goals in 17 championship games.

I guess only Sterling has better stats
