The transfer rumours thread is closed, so I don't know where to put this but.....

It also talks about Mason going as well.

Although he (Dembele) has been excellent this season, and even perhaps some peoples player of the season, perhaps with his injury record and a lofty offer it is time to move him on. It will also give Bentaleb and Carrol space to come through.

Is this guy (the Roma director) reliable.... “[Mousa] Dembele has already been sold, and for a ridiculous price,” Sabatini told Gazzetta dello Sport."

He was probably talking about Ousmane Dembele and the quotes have been misinterpreted.

Selling dembele would be about the dumbest thing we could do. He's been irreplaceable

Seems like a load of rubbish. If we didn't sell him last summer when he was very inconsistent why on earth would we sell him now after the immense season he's had? We wouldn't find a better central midfielder than him.

It would be dumb to sell him.. he has been irreplaceable this season... though if he did go he could be replaced.. Dahoud or Kroos (unlikely) could easily not weaken us

This agaIn?

Wrong dembele, yeah, but that apart, your assertion that we should think about selling our Beast is in itself laughable. Did you not notice the huge hole in midfield when he wasnt there? Or poch making sure we tied him down to a new long term contract??

why do you think carroll has earned an easier path to the first team? Neat and tidy, but no more. certainly not a next level player, and hes not 21 with a development ceiling we havent yet seen.

Bentaleb has had an awful run, firstly irking many on his new contract terms then under training according to his lack of game time when actually fit.

So, Carroll to go, then perhaps one of mason or bentaleb, depending on preseason training and value of offers received. Neither should go for less than 10m in the new market. Maybe bents could help us deal for lacazette or batshuyi in exchange.

Really bad from the Express, and no surprise a shitblog like Teamtalk ran with it as well.

Saw a Twitter convo with the journalist that wrote it. Didn't seem too fussed that he had the wrong dembele . Just blamed it in a dodgy translation. Still left the article on the site.

So many football journalists steal a living. What a shyster this one is.

Because he got a lot more clicks on the story this way.

I you put all the Dembeles in one room the water level will rise 5 meters flooding Chelsea and the Olympic Stadium. I think that's Levy's tactic. Not fussed about Arsenal

Can we have 3 forums this summer and ALL the transfer rumour stuff gets posted in one of them ? The ITK forum, the 'sensible rumours' forum for speculation by journalists in proper publications, and the 'shit rumours and click bait' forum for nonsense by tabloid scumbags and kiddy bloggers.

That would save us from endless threads and anguished posts in the main forums about Dele Alli being sold to Liverpool for £6 million and Kane being offered £750,000 per week by Real Madrid according to a waiter in a Spanish restaurant.

Just a suggestion !
