See this is what bugs be.
Soldado did fuck all most if the time. He stood around idly waiting for something to happen. He hardly scored a goal in good knows how many games and yet, still, you'd rather keep him and sell Adebeyor.

I swear some spurs fans watch a different game. The guy scored more freely more often and, compared to the lazy Spaniard, worked his socks off as soon as dim Sherwood did what AVB should have had the balls to do.

Going back to the unpopular opinion thread - half the people on here are demented.

Not sure I can read another Soldado post from you. I think everyone gets it. I really do.

I would be very surprised to see us change our forward line at all.

Adebayor - we can criticise him as much as we want but he is one of the few who has proved he can play at the very top level. Yes he's inconsistent but he can genuinely rip teams apart on his day. Played for 'proper' football clubs his whole career. For a reason.

Kane - started to get a bit of momentum last season and proved he can get us goals that win games against the middle and lower order. Needs to continue to impress and show it consistently and get goals in big games.

Soldado - obviously had a disappointing first season. Not the first player to do that and won't be the last. I would be shocked if the manager wasn't looking forward to working with him. Worked in the same league and pochettino can take all the plaudits for a transformation if it comes. I am intrigued to see how this one turns out.

Tldr: no changes up front, nothing to see, move along.

Until the next misguided soul has the audacity to criticise one of our players that's been consistently better for us.
Maybe if Ade would have kept his trap shut and did what hes paid to do, he would have played more, but he didn't and not just for us.
Constantly take the piss out of your boss or clients and see what happens.
If Soldado flops next season fair enough, constantly critising a player adapting to a new league and the joke of team management last season is unfair to say the least.
Ade scored 8 league goals in 29 games in his first full season in the EPL.
Soldado scored 6 in 28 not much difference I would say.
