EZE DOES IT Tottenham favourites to complete £20million transfer for QPR star Eberechi Eze

TOTTENHAM have their eye on Queens Park Rangers star Eberechi Eze.

Top scout Brian Carey saw the midfielder, 21, in dazzling form in their 3-1 win at Preston last Saturday.

Tottenham have also been tracking Eze, who scored 14 and recorded a further 14 assists last season in a QPR side which struggled without him in the Championship.

Good to have the thread, but it's based on that article from March. Is there any indication we're still in for him?

Nothing recent that I could find and be deemed reliable. Most recent post-COVID articles link him with Crystal Palace or West Ham and if we're mentioned it mentions us among lists of "admirers"

Zee would be a great signing just think we’ve got to many other problems to sort out first but would be glad if it happened. Feel like if he goes to palace or spam he’ll be a £60m player in a year or two.

I would get him in as a Sissoko replacement.

Looks good on the ball, and can carry the ball forward. If he can make a 5 yard pass then whats not to like :joyful:

Exwhuemployee who I think is their version of JJ says they’re not going to get him and he’s likely off to Crystal Palace

Selling Zaha to Everton for 50 odd million and buying Eze for 20m is sound business in fairness.

Got a bad feeling we aren’t in for him any more. There was so much ITK smoke that this was virtually nailed on yet it doesn’t seem like it now at all.

Kinda player that if we had money we could just sign to stop him going to West Ham or Palace. We could even loan him out if we wanted. Follow Chelsea model of hoarding quality young talent.

I wonder if Bournemouth getting relegated has changed things?

Probably felt Eze was more attainable earlier and would have signed him as a future prospect.

With Bournemouth getting relegated (along with the virus) perhaps the club feel we can get previous targets for lower fees and they have PL experience and are more ready.

Also Jose has probably realised he needs more creative midfielders that are a bit more proven.

Could add Norwich too that too.

Hercules said this was done barring a calamity - if anything our season got far better than when he said that, so I’m anticipating he’ll be having his picture taken in a Spurs shirt soon

We need a decent squad of 23 before we can start playing that game:depressed:
