15 goals in 25 appearances (i think?) this season, we cannot afford to lose a player with that tally.

Prob close to player of the season but his quality of football really does depend on a coach who can wholeheartedly support him.

The question now is...what happens contactually when the Man City money runs out in the summer .

Is it left that we must stump up the full 170 Gs for Ade's last 2 years ?

Or is there a clause that says Ade will just get our part of the wage ie 90 Gs ?

We don't do 170 Gs wages...so something has to give...you have to ask will Monaco do 170 ? If so then that seems the only course open .

Time to get rid of him. He's a quality player and has demonstrated he has what it takes, but we can't risk him disrupting the team by disrespecting the new manager all over again.

If the groundhog points his nose in the air (as if smelling money), it means Ade could give a shit this season.

If he puts his arse in the air, then we're in for 6 more months of sulking.

That's as about predictable as Ade gets unfortunately....

great! I'm gonna be singing that all day now!

"Maybe tomorrow I'll wanna settle down". Oh why did he never want to settle down? Always made me cry when he left .

Sorry about the tune, it will be stuck in my head today too!

I like Ade but happy to call it a day now I think. What happens if he doesn't like the new manager either? Start all over again? If Monaco are interested then it's a good time to move on.

His future depends on whether the new boss wants to devote his time to massaging Ade's giant ego, and whether we want to start picking up the full tab for his monstrous wages. All too much for a player who turns up when he feels like it IMO.

Disrespecting the manager by airing his opinion? If manager cannot deal deal with a player who has an opinion then he should be coaching the under 7, those pups just listen and occasionally cry if told off.

I rest my freakin' case. It's not a matter of the club, the fans or striving for personal brilliance that'll keep Ade here or not- it's the manager. All this guy cares about is a guaranteed start or not.... well guess what? There's competition and this guy needs to understand that special privileges do not exist outside the world of Tim Sherwood....

A few games where he plays like he's supposed to (and paid to), while snoozing off in all the rest doesn't entitle him to any kind of guaranteed start - he needs to shut up and fight like everybody else. The Adebayor-Sherwood regime was toxic, plain and simple.

Prediction :-
he'll do sweet FA this year for us and won't sign for any interested parties as they will be put off by his wage demands.

Then the following year he'll eventually get into the team and do well (similar to this year) and 'earn' the big contract he was after with another team cos they get him on a free.

So you know he wants a guaranteed start? Most professional footballer would love a guarantee start but that's not the case. He has never ever started he wanted a guaranteed start, all he wanted was to be given the chance to be selected.
its not his fault if the manager decides not to rotate when he is not producing in games, same could be said about Lennon and Bentaleb. We hope the next manager will man enough and experienced to deal with these situation much better. Rotate as required, deal with individual opinions and not sulk for the benefit of the team.

Ade and Sherwood were in bed during the whole coup that took place in December, when they teamed up in Ade's exile to the youth squad. He was quoted as saying that he was given 100% trust and the 'keys to the club' by Sherwood. So forgive me if I don't buy the whole notion that Ade is the type of guy that would play ball under any manager, as long as he's given the chance. He clearly didn't under AVB and just now stated that he won't if it's not 'his' type of manager...
