Why are they doing nations league with the current fixture congestion and world cup mid season. Ridiculous.

Pointless tournament, especially given there's a whole World Cup to shoehorn into the season already.

In fairness in terms of international football the teams do need to have games before the world cup. On this occasion the break probably works well for them. The issue is the world cup mid season. Other than that I don't see an issue with international break even though I'm not passionate about international football. The nations still need to compete otherwise when the major tournaments come around they'll struggle. It would be good if they could change the schedule a bit though. Nations League should be every summer in between the world cup and euros. Then you just need to have some games in the build up to those games so after the season ends. Maybe an international break mid season during a short winter break for non international players could work.

It's always going to be busy for an international player though. I just hope that Dier isn't run into the ground like Hojbjerg and Kane. Maybe in his role at centre back he doesn't need to cover so much ground but it's still of lot of minutes. I wonder if Sanchez would cover at CCB at times, as long as we have Lenglet next to him to be the ball player.

He won't get to play though... Because England have the best defender in the world - You know the one that can't get a game for ManU. (And yes , it is Sarcasm)
