We've spent quite a lot of money since June, with seemingly a lot more to come. Doesn't yet make up for the fallow years that left us with a bit of rot in the squad, but I'm hopeful that the future looks brighter.

The same stadium that wouldn't effect transfers. Yeah. Damn, almost :D

Settle down you, we've just replaced the artist formerly known as our playmaker with making permanent a player we already had on loan and we're going to go even further and are going to replace Llorente

And no this isn't a dig at Levy, he's doing decent business this Jan but the way some try and ridicule the dissenters because of a whiff of a couple signings is jumping the gun imo. We're seemingly operating a budget based on outgoings and opportunity this window but we're going to have to see what the summer brings and how well Jose is backed before we start all holding hands in a circle around a fire in celebration that we're finally going to back the man in charge and compete with the big boys.

Yeah man #levyout #Enicout blah blah...Don't worry only 3 more days until everyone gets bored of moaning and moves onto something else until the Summer window anyway, my money is on our midfield, Aurier Jose's tactics or the corner slopes OR are the serial moaners gonna conjure up something inventive, wouldn't be surprised :D

Well this is it, I feel like we go to the ends of the spectrum of joy and despair so flippantly and I think we need to taper both sides. Im encouraged by the start of a rebuild though.

Yeah that was pretty clear bullshit from the start. How can anyone spend hundreds of millions on a project without it impacting their other spending?
Tbf, Levy was always very cute with his wording, stating that money for transfers would be “ringfenced” and that the stadium wouldn’t affect that. Well, he was right it was ringfenced, at zero...

I guess that is both unsurprising and legitimately better than having to sell just to stay afloat. As long as the investment keeps coming now we're moved in I'm relatively happy.

As of this moment we have confirmed Lo Celso and got on loan for 18 months Gedson Fernandes .
Some are saying its been a fantastic window I don't see that at this moment in time .
IF we get a striker and the dutch guy then it is an okay window .
What I believe most supporters would like is a defensive midfielder as well as a striker then you could say "brilliant window"

At this stage it's a satisfactory window. We haven't messed up the Lo Celso deal, for a while it looked like Jose might not rate him. Fernandes on a loan is decent.

Getting rid of Eriksen is a plus.

Be nice to get one or two more in. But lets not forget Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester haven't yet made any signings. Liverpool don't need anything but have bought the Japanese guy. Wolves have bought a 19 year old from Barcelona.

So at this stage we have done better business than those around us but nothing ground breaking without any further deals.

sometimes the perfect player isn't available in a certain window, especially the January window

Levy will shell out if we risk losing Champions League money but if we have a chance of a trophy he keeps his hands in his pockets.

I agree about this window players that you want are not available unless you pay thru the nose . I was just trying to make a point that some are saying "brilliant window " I am just pointing out at this moment in time it is not brilliant window .

the only reason he hasn't been shelling out the last 10 years is due to the Stadium, or a bloated squad.

if it was your school of thought we wouldn't of spent 100m in the summer
