His brother Brian has just retweeted an article saying the Roma director of football is in London to convince Erik to go back to Roma.

I'll admit. If Musacchio's brother did the same thing to us, or MS, or Remy, or Depay ect. I'd be quite excited and read into it a bit. But I just really don't see Lamela leaving!

His brother Brian has just retweeted an article saying the Roma director of football is in London to convince Erik to go back to Roma.

He appears to have re-tweeted a Roma fan. The Roma fan has tweeted an image of a screenshot taken from a site citing a possible transfer rumour. The fan's saying "If this is a dream, please don't wake me up". The article doesn't say anything concrete, it just says that Sabatini, the Roma director, is in London and that it might be a case of him trying to settle a deal for Lamela to return to Roma. It then says that we'd want 25 million for him.

Most likely just a load of bullshit and speculation. Anyway, considering the recent Destro rumours, who is to say that the Roma director isn't over here for that? There's nothing substantial to it.

They can try to convince us as much as they want. I just don't think it would ever happen. They also signed Juan Iturbe this summer. Him, Gervinho, Paredes, Florenzi, etc. are all good options in attack. For me this doesn't add up. Weren't they talking about needing to get rid of attackers as they were bloated (I remember hearing they wanted to sell one of Ljajic and/or Destro)?

The fact the guy from Roma is in London and Brian Lamela has retweeted this is not a good coincidence for me

Brian Lamela is just re-tweeted speculation and rumours. No idea why, maybe the person he's re-tweeting is a friend or just admire their passion for his brother.

Sabatini could be in London for all sorts of reasons, the main one most likely being Benatia.

We've just appointed an Argentinian coach...I would be stunned if there was truth to this...unless they were offering Levy some sort of profit on the deal.

Exactly, they have sufficient cover in the wide forward positions, a player of Lamela's position isn't needed. I don't think they need do anymore business apart from shifting the useless Borriello. Ljajic and Destro will stay I think. They've got a very good side this year and could capitalise on Juve's managerial change.

Didn't we nearly get/were in talks for Borriello a few seasons ago?

Watched the Sheffield game again last night, he was MoM in the first half and continued to play very well until he went off.

Had a very good game today as well. The prem switch has clicked in his head. He's here. Finally.

Gotta work on his timing of tackles though. :D
You didn't want to put this in the thread in Spurs Chat? :ROFLMAO:
