Whoever does the negotiations on behalf of Wembley should have run our world cup bid. They get everything.
Don't get any group games though so England will only play at Wembley if they get to the last 4

I think this is just one big, stupid, revenue maximising venture. I mean... fucking Azerbaijan?? How is that even Europe? It's further east than Iraq! Teams and supporters having to fly clear across a continent? from one game to the next?

Stop ruining football!!

I've never understood how we don't get whole tournaments in England anyway. Euro 96 was fantastic and in my lifetime I can only remember that and WC 1996. I don't know for sure (brain going in old age) but I think Germany, France and Brazil have hosted major tournies more than once in that time.

Suppose we're just not liked

If it's true that Germany "only" went for the group stage so they could go for Euro 24 instead then why the hell didn't we do that, much better idea

The rumour I heard was that Germany pulled out so Wembley would get the semi's and final of 2020 and England would back Germany for 2024 and in return Germany back England for 2028.

FA chairman Greg Clarke says he's not sure what Uefa can do for fans on Euro 2020 travel costs. He suggests they start saving up for it...

Surprised the matches in Spain wont be at the Bernabeu. That's almost 30k seats they're foregoing...

The quarter finals in Baku should be fun. If England get to play there will the fans even make it back to London in time for the semi finals?
