Fulham are down to 10 men against Wisla Krakow thanks to what can only be desribed as the worst bit of cheating/diving since Rivaldo in 2002. Dembele pushed a player in the shoulder who then fell to the floor clutching his face and rolling around. UEFA must take some action against him.

Absolutely terrible, and this from the ref who gave the France handball goal v Ireland in 09.

Also an incredible number of red cards in the early kick-offs, 8 in 12 games or something like that. A bit calmer in the late kick-offs, "only" 3.

2118: RED CARD Maccabi Tel-Avin's Yoav Ziv.

2121: It's 10-a-side at the Britannia, and in slightly comical fashion. Yoav Ziv, the man who has slammed by the Stoke fans for his part in Cameron Jerome's sending off, turns the boos to cheers by receiving marching orders of his own. He is clearly ruffled when Ryan Shotton stands on his foot during a tackle on the touchline and takes his frustration out with an air kick at the linesman, only for his boot to come off and hit the official. The player apologises immediately but the damage is done and it's an early bath for the defender.

Idiot

Make that six red cards in the late games, totalling 14 red cards in 24 games today. Insane.

Just noticed this. What the fuck is a team from Tel Aviv doing playing in the Europa League? Last time I looked at an atlas, Tel Aviv was not in Europe.

I totally agree but Israel have been playing in the European qualifying groups since the early 90's. Their neighbours just don't want to play ball!

Well, that's Israel's problem, or the AFC's, not Europe's. Nothing to do with us at all.
After all, no one played rugby or cricket with apartheid South Africa.

Surely its easier to have Israel play in Europe, then to have terrorists trying to blow up stadiums when Israel plays *insert Arab nation*.
