IMHO Everton under Moyes were a tough team to beat but under Martinez they seem to have lost their consistency and so I'm going for a hard fought Spurs win, 1-2

We deserve a win based on the previous game being one of the most one-sided games I've seen yet we got nothing for it.

That being said probably some bullshit, someway, somehow.

I hate playing them there; like at Anfield, there's just always this feeling that something bad is about to happen.

We've got a pretty good record at their ground. It's at the Lane where they tend to do well against us.

Michael Oliver

He's refereed us twice this season, both at home vs Palace 1-0 win (3 Yellow) and Chelsea 0-0 (6 Yellow)
and Everton twice as well vs Southampton away 3-0 win (6 Yellow) and Villa at home 4-0 win (no cards shown).

He is presently one of the best referees in the Premier League and I hope he has a good and fair performance.

Mr Pink can you explain and elaborate why you rated my post as DISAGREE ?!?

Didn't he referee that Chelsea vs. Liverpool match where Costa blatantly stamped on two Liverpool players with no consequence during the game?

No, it was Mark Clattenburg.

The match developed into a scrappy affair, both sides were a little fortunate to escape being reduced to 10 men. He failed to spot Costa flick a boot into the midriff of Martin Skrtel after a tangle in the centre-circle and Lucas Leiva escaped a second yellow card after checking a strong run from Ramires through the middle.

I've been reading all the pundits predictions and nearly all to a person are predicting an Everton win. Even though we have the meanest defense and the best goal difference. God I so hope we win this won just to shove it down their throats. COYS!!

Nothing new here. Lawro's predictions would leave us in 8th, Liverpool 3rd (with nearly 50% more points than reality), and Man City on target to get the highest ever Premier League points total. He does give one of his best reasons yet for us losing:
"Everton have not won at home since beating Villa on 21 November. I think they are due one."
Consistently failing to win at home is apparently proof that they're likely to win against a team that is unbeaten away from home since the first day of the season. Brilliant logic right there!

Steve Wilson predicts us to lose 3-2, which is again not backed up by any statistics at all. Spurs haven't conceded more than two goals in a game all season, and have only conceded two twice. They have scored a lot of goals so far, but most of those have come in very open games (e.g. 3-4 loss to Stoke last match) or against very weak opponents (4 against Villa, 6 against Sunderland). Our playing style doesn't really allow for open goal frenzies and why is the team with the best defensive record suddenly going to open the floodgates?

I know its the pantomime season and so the "its not on Skysports", "Oh yes it is" sequence fitted in well.

I looked it up and it says it was Oliver.
