Let's not turn on each other. Right now, we've had counter-attacking football and no trophies. It's understandable that some people aren't happy! But there've been positive signs and he's only had a few months - I've been very optimistic on him and I still think he'll win stuff for us.
Fair play, i'm just desperate for us to win something. We were the most successful side in this competition, it's in our DNA, we need to be winning this competition again.

I share your optimism, I really think the signs are good and we will do soMething next season. It might not be pretty and it might not be to everyones taste but we need to get past that finishing line, and I believe we will under Mourinho.

They’ve bought into Arteta, and he’s given them even more confidence with the cup. More money and European football to attract better players in the summer, even in their worst season in forever. I don’t mind qualifying fixtures, as preseason was always gonna be congested and friendly-filled, but fuck arsenal. Fuck anthony Taylor. Fuck our luck. Fuck

I bet abaumayang still leaves and I bet we still finish above them next season.

Its fucking annoying the won the fa cup again because it’s an embarrassment we haven’t won it since 1991.

Big game player? He touched the ball about ten times! He’s a fabulous finisher but that’s about it.

Such a strange player. So anonymous from game to game at times yet still manages to score pivotal goals and a lot of them, all whilst missing multiple decent chances throughout the course of the campaign along the way!

Arsenal have amongst them something called character that a lot of our players lack. Some in abundance.

Tbf that's all you need from a player sometimes, get a chance, score. 10 touches in a cup final and two goals? I'd take that. Our Harry occasionally has games where he is pretty quiet and then bam, a couple of goals.

what a terrible season for us...

Actually made me feel abit better when I realised that barring us getting relegated or gooners winning the league , next season can't get much worse.

Father in law is a Liverpool fan and well arsenal are arsenal. So to have them doing the league and cup double is pretty bloody upsetting ha.

Really do struggle to find the words to sum up being a Spurs fan sometimes.

Just sick to the stomach with it all, really.

Them lot have the bragging rights yet again. Despite us being miles better than them for the best part of 5 seasons.

Arteta wins a cup 6 months into his first ever managerial job with them lot. Unbelievable.

Call it luck on the day or whatever, we've just never had it in us to cross the finish line.

I’ve just had enough.

Absolutely had enough of it all.

We will never win another honour. They are shit and win something almost every season.

Fed up, disgusted and just had enough. Been done with the game for a long time and this proves I made the right decision.

Arsenal are an inherently lucky team. We are the opposite. Luck is key for Cup wins.

I know the media is giving Arteta plaudits but the key moments in todays game came down to poor refereeing and Chelsea losing 2 key players to hamstring injuries.

It is sickening that they won so many FA Cups in a period where we have been a superior team. I hope Mourinho can shithouse his way to a cup for us next season, I want to celebrate us winning something again.

Is there any other “big team” that regularly comes up short while all their neighbors constantly win trophies - maybe shalke?

It’s not luck. It’s setting the team up well to their strengths, it’s the players showing focus, determination and discipline instead of being flaky fucks, and it’s playing for a club with a long history of success and an ingrained belief that they can win more trophies. As for us, Mourinho may be the manager we need to break our vicious circle of failure and begin winning trophies- like Arsenal.

They’ve won 9 FA Cups since we last won it. 7 during our ENIC trophy drought. Ouch. Not worth listing the league titles as that’s never been our thing anyway I suppose.
