We attempted 32 crosses this match. Two went directly at his head. The one he managed to deflect from his head to his shoulder. The second he almost completely missed.

Even I would have scored that chance in the second half. It was actually harder to miss the goal.

I thought the first half we did try to play to his strengths, but that quickly became apparent that it wasn’t working. Second half we played more of our normal game, which worked better, so Llorente has to fit the system, which he doesn’t. We need another striker. Martial would have been great, but that’s gone, Zaha too expensive, but would be good. I guess we’re kinda stuck.

He needs to play to get into the rhythm but unfortunately we do not have that much time.
He actually look as he have aged 15 years since he signed for us.

There must be some Championship or League One teams up for it? Seems the only teams he can now perform against.

He was not that bad today, did a lot of things right but he needs to get his timing back. I think people are too hard on him.

Don't see what he did right today.

Poor touches and hold up, understanding with team mates was poor. Had two glorious chances with his head which he fluffed. He really lacks aggressiveness for a big man and I think saying he's good at heading is just a lazy observation because of his size.

On the rare occasion he gets himself into position, sometimes he's got a decent finish on him but that's about it. Honestly think Lamela could hold the ball up better.

That was up there as one of the worst performances ive ever seen from one of our players. Couldnt hold the ball up, missed a few sitters, scored an own goal and couldnt run. He didnt even look like he tried. I dont mean to be knee jerk but we need to buy a Striker or promote Parrott.

I disagree we set up to play to his strengths. Their were hardly any high crosses for him. Be played shit but we still tried to fit him into our way of playing. I think we need to give Janssen the run out
His strength is supposed to be his heading? Two crosses were literally put on his head in front of goal today and he failed to actually head either!

He was horrible, but come on guys, we were mostly shite as a group. I knew people would start writing his obituary if it didn't go well. So predictable.

Not to mention the pundits doing the same every time he did something wrong (including not chasing a poor winks pass, kane woulda got there apparently). Almost like people have forgotten that the man himself missed 5/6 chances last week. Players have bad moments, Llorente will be fine and important for us.

More game time needed and its not like we have hundreds of strikers quing up so lets get behind him, boost his confidence and then hopefully this increases his price tag.

3 sitters. 1 hit shoulder, 1 went wide and one he hit with his face.
If we rely on him we are in trouble.
A pub striker would have scored today and not in our goal either.
Balls were bouncing off him.
He is not the answer imo.

Wow, there are some real idiotic comments here about a player who has won more than the whole of the rest of the squad put together.

The man is obviously rusty and no-one will be more disappointed than him.

I would have thought some people would have learned not to rush to judgements after some of our player experiences over recent years.

Who cares what he’s won? He’s scored 1 premier league goal in 21 games! He’s finished and nowhere near good enough for us. His other goals have come against league 1 and 2 opposition.
