as usual he talks a lot of sense - I've a lot of time for sugar

yes he did some things wrong etc - but I think his heart and head are in the right place when it comes to spurs

He's right of course. While we are still smarting from losing good players and nestling at the bottom of the table, we do have to put all that behind us - that means the fans as well as the players - and get on with this season.

What's done is done and we have to look forward now with a positive attitude. This may not be a great season for us, but it can be used to build a decent team and there will be opportunities in January to bring in more players.

The future is bright. The future is Lilywhite!

Came across really well in the interview. Talked a lot of sense as well and even showed a bit of humility in admitting he made a couple of mistakes in his time at the club.

He spoke quite a bit about it being difficult for teams like Spus to build title challenging teams due to the fact that as soon as we amass a decent squad of players alex Ferguson comes along and cherry picks the best for his team. He said unfortunately that is always going to happen so we just have to get on with it and hope we can keep the squad together long enough to mount a decent challenge. He doesn't think Spurs will go down, he repeated quite alot of what Levy and Ramos have said in the press regarding late transfers causing problems.

Yeah agree from top 4 to 10 years of middle table.

Leeds were top four for a short while before they went under.

We were about to go under too, Sugar steadied the ship and kept us afloat.

He made some bad decisions football wise, but he done his best and should be looked back on favourably in my opinion.

We were not excatly a mainstay in the top for before his arrival anyway, we had some good players and to my memory had finished thrid once (twice if you want to go as far back as 87 although that was long before Sugar came so not really relevant)

Yeah how dare he stop us going bankrupt.

:clap::clap::clap:
Yet again your right, in 1990 we were a top 4 club and are now a mid-table one.
Thanks for helping setting up the Sky,after all,i didnt really want to watch football for free on normal TV,if you can remember that!
Thanks for refusing Berkamp,Zola and getting Fox,Austin,Edinburgh(10 Bloody years) ,Kerslake,Dozzell,Sinton,Rosenthal,Dominguez,
Vega,Cundy,add in any other greats,if you like!
I often tell my son, Fox what a player,he played one good game on his debut and was shit for the next 100.After all Bergkamp only won 3 championships and lit up the English game.I still think Armstrong was better than Zola,dont you!
