If they see him as an attacking midfielder they should note that VDV was nominated for EPL player of the year and is outscoring practically all other midfielders in England.

This award is merely a "who is the most popular" competition. As a Dutchie I know that Sneijder has been very dissapointing so far for Inter so shouldn't be nominated at all.

I was talking about the attacking midfielder candidates re Sneijder, but you're right Robben is another one who is probably there because of reputation. Has played 6 games in the league so far, albeit scoring 4 times.
