I wouldn't say most - it was taken for the majority tbh.
Soldado had it, Janssen took it, then Janssen left and Llorente (and everyone since) seemed to say "fuck that number".

It would be disrespectful if Lamela, a squad player, didn’t offer him the #11 shirt out of respect IMO.

..if not, he deserves the number 9 shirt. He’s not a defender anymore. Give number 3 to Reguilon.

Rule M4 from the PL handbook says that a player must retain the squad number allocated for the season, whilst at the club.

However, the fixed fine for breaching this is £2,500. So 11 is not off the table - is indeed a matter of respect. Or business.
