Bayern can afford his wages, they haven’t spent big in ages until Hernandez came in.

They need replacements for Ribery and Robben but I’m struggling to see why they would spend that much money on another 30 year old when they can probably get Havertz and Werner for less.

Not saying Bale isn’t capable, he is phenomenal on his day, but his age would be completely against Bayern’s modus operandi. They are however his most likely destination IMO.

"Gareth Bale's agent has branded Zinedine Zidane a "disgrace" after the Real Madrid manager said the forward was very close to leaving the club.

Bale's representative Jonathan Barnett has reacted furiously to Zidane's comments, telling AFP: "Zidane is a disgrace, he shows no respect for a player that has done so much for Real Madrid."

Barnett did confirm Bale is in the process of leaving the Bernabeu, saying: "We are working on it."

As a side note, Jonathan Barnett seems to like the sound of his own voice (or the printed equivalent). I've not known an agent to compete so much for column space.

Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Kane, Hazard, Salah, KDB, Sterling that’s just to get going
At the peak of his powers I think you could make a strong argument for Kane being top 3. If we're talking about right now, I'd pick the majority of those players over Bale, plus a few more.

That said, a few years ago he was literally the best in the world at bursting forward with pace and putting in pinpoint crosses/scoring from ridiculous distance.
