Reckon he will prove to be a good signing for them. Southampton seem to have a very good scouting system.

Their scouting system has their ups and downs.

Recent ups will be players like Armstrong, Ings and potentially Che Adams

Recent downs include Carrillo, Gunn and Danso

It's a mixed bag.

Dybala

Doubtful we'd have enough loose change down the back of the sofa if even true.

Don't even understand why they'd want rid. Thought he had a productive season.

11 goals and 11 assists in 33 league games this season. 6 goals and 7 assists in the last 13 games pre-lockdown. Had a poor summer but that has been hampered by injury.

They're mad for letting him go IMO.

He won the Serie A player of the year award, ahead of Ronaldo, Immobile and Papu Gomez. Can't say I watch much Serie A but it seems completely mad that they'd be willing to let him leave, and even more mad that no team bigger than us would be in for him.

There's some of this Dybala stuff going on in the Ndombele thread also. It appears Real Madrid have offered cash plus players.

And don't rule out Spam swooping in late.

Ha, that makes more sense - again I've not seen a huge amount of him so I'm no authority, but from what I've seen and read it would seem very strange for him to move to a Europa League side that is unlikely to win any major trophies in the next couple of years and is unable to pay the sort of wages that might make the lack of medals easier to accept.

Valencia’s owner Peter Lim might be the absolute worst in Europe, this is such a shame for a once formidable club.

if we hadn’t bought Hojbjerg I’d be all over Kongdogbia. As it stands don’t think any of their players will really interest us as they’ll want 1st team football. Maybe Gaya.

Valencia's owner is a proper ****. Flogging Coquelin and Parejo for less than 10m must have felt like a slap in the face to the fans

That article basically just named as many football clubs as possible. As if we would go for Paulista.

Guedes would be an intersting one though, has potential but would depend on fee I guess.

Actually someone just came to mind running through their squad: Lee Kang-In, 19 year old South Korean with insane dribbling skills. Definitely small and needs to develop but for cheap this could be worth it. He’s dubbed the Korean Messi, but looking at this highlights below, all I see is Marcus Edwards... I figure if we’re spending 10m on Clarke a similar fee could be worth it, even if Kang-In needs a loan first.
