Can't imagine why BBLG has a miserable face....maybe his name now becomes too prosaic as people debate ..er bringing back Le Gin .

Anyway the key thing from a Spurs perspective would be.....is he any good ? This should decide his prospects with us not the massive wave of sentimentality over his time with us ( of which I'm a complete victim.. luv Daveed to pieces :))

The sad face is just because we didn't take him before. Makes me want to drive down to sandbanks right now and take a shit on Sandra!

We have a recently retired player that could do a job coaching our back four... would rather see that happen..

Yeah, plenty of evidence to suggest that the most naturally talented players usually are.

Not being naturally talented at anything makes it impossible for me to know this for sure, but it must be nearly impossible for someone who excels at something without thinking about it to explain it to less talented individuals.

Exactly right. From what I understand that was always regarded as a weakness that Glenn Hoddle had as a coach.

On what basis is it assumed long would be a good coach? I'm far from convinced.

i assume you meant to put King, i think he would make a good defensive coach because he was not just a member of the back four, he Organized the back four when he played, genuine football brain, he rarely made a mistake, positioning was a strong point hence my thoughts on his ability to go through previous games in the video room with players, just my opinion mind..
