Defoe and Townsend will be in the studio on Goals on Sunday tomorrow at 10.30 on Sky Sports 1 so this is just a heads up, I just made sure to put it on the Sky planner! I hate how these Sunday morning programmes never seem to be repeated so if you miss it then that's it.

I'll have to catch a stream. Interesting to see what Defoe's like, he's often quite outspoken in interviews.

Thanks for the heads-up.

They'll almost certainly ask him about why he doesn't get more game time and how he feels about it and whether he wants to move and he'll almost certainly have to give the same type of response he always does i.e. of course its frustrating, I just wanna play but I love the club and I always work hard

Then they'll centre around England and the World cup and whether he needs to be playing every week to get to the tournament

I'm glad Andros seems to have his head on straight, refreshing to see it from young players.

So impressed with andros and jd - they both have had major issues in their personal lives which they have had to to overcome and to me this shines through in their mature personalities - team spirit shone through between them and andros for a 21 year old live on tv did really well - they are both a credit to our football club and make me proud to be a supporter/season ticket holder

Isn't Andros 22?

That said I agree with the sentiment, he comes across very well.
