Speaking on Simon & Souness, Graeme Souness suggested that he is a big fan of Postecoglou considering that he was not optimistic about his chances of being a success in North London.
“I thought he’d struggle, because you’ve taken Harry’s goals out the equation, so you’re thinking where are the goals going to come from? I think he’s done really, really well at Spurs. The first thing he got on side was the media, they seem to like him. He’s got a lovely way with him. I’ve only met him the once when he was in Scotland, in an Italian restaurant, absolutely charming,” he said.
“He told me a story, he was a ballboy. Scotland, we had to go play Australia in a World Cup qualifier in 86. And he said he was a ballboy at the ground at Melbourne where we played. And he was charming. He comes across as an honest guy.”
