Alliteration is awesome.

Reading that has made me a bit worried. Mainly the bit where he says he needs a holiday. Because that either means that he's leaving, he's not going to bother with transfers for a bit, or he's just tired of football.

The leaving part is worrisome because I appear to be one of the only people of this site that still likes the best manager we've had in several decades. The transfer bit is worrisome because we DESPERATELY need to get business done early this year. Waiting does not work. The tired of football bit is worrying because it could mean he's not leaving and will just come back half-arsed.

Anyone else worried or am I reading too much into this?

Harry's been through a court case and prematurely hailed as the new England manager all in one year. Add those to the rollercoaster season we've had and a holiday would definitely seem appealing. :p

Don't see why transfers can't happen just cos he's on holiday, most of our transfers have probably been agreed between him and levy and he does have a mobile, Im also sure Sandra can operate a laptop seeing as she could be our no 1 striker according to arry anyway, that's IF hes staying of course.

Anyone see the Daily Star bit they added to the same article. Apparently Harry's top of Abramovich's managerial wanted list if he fails to get Pep.

Good luck with that one Harry!! :)

I wouldn't be worried if it means he's not going to be involved in transfers.

Frankly i'd far prefer Levy and our scouts to go out and buy players and take Harry out of the equation.

I hope he goes to EUROs, as much as he winds me up with comments on Spurs in the media, I'd pay attention to him as he's the Spurs manager. I'm sure he'll drop some not so obvious hints about who "we're looking at" too :D

If he pulls out, they should get Adebayor in! Hopefully his mobile phone won't go off this time :ROFLMAO:

Do you not think he deserves a holiday based on this season,? If i was hime i would want a holiday as well, Our season been extremely high pressure, court case, heart op, and whole England debacle!!

I think he bloody well deserves one, go relax and come back ready to fight, he has a phone and i am sure he has discussed with Levy the signings he is after, anyone who thinks he hasnt are a little naive, i am sure they discuss it quite frequently!

I don't rate Harry's punditry. I don't find he offers any real insight. Wasn't he analyzing the CL final last season? Sat there, shrugging, saying there was nothing Utd could have done differently. How about squeezing the space between the lines, H-like your chums at Chelsea? I like to see pundits beating their chest and clambering over tables to get at the anchorman.

I'm worried about his odd choice fo a holiday location given all the money he must have in his off-shore accounts.

(P.S. my mum spent her happy childhood years growing up on Canvey Island but I couldn't imagine it being much of a holiday spot, more a day trip myself).
