Southampton and Tottenham have agreed a fee for Saints midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after weeks of negotiation. Spurs initially fell short of Southampton's £25m valuation of the Danish international, who has one year left on his contract.
The two clubs have now finally agreed a fee that is less than that, but a lot more than Spurs' initial £15m offer.

Good news then but I'm hoping we can give KWP another year as backup fulback to a new signing though, I really want Aurier gone but I fear he will still be there.

What's the point in giving KWP more time as backup? For his own benefit he needs to be a starter somewhere.

This is great news, i wonder if he will wear the 23 shirt like all our danish midfield players.

I am very surprised and dissapointed at the speed of how quick this transfer is progressing. It has caught me by surprise as i was under the impression we dont buy players until the last day of the transfer window.

We really need 2 fullbacks for each side, theres almost always a main man.

I agree but I believe Tanganga and Toby should be good enough backup if we can get a better starter in.
