At the moment Id go:

Vicario

Porro
Romero
VDV
Udogie

PEH
Sarr
Maddison

Kulusevski
Son
Johnson

Firstly I know many will disagree with PEH but Bentancur isnt up to full speed yet so we're managing his game time.

Bissouma has been far too up and down, and when he's down its a huge problem in thst area of the pitch.

Id start PEH against West Ham away.

Johnson was poor against Fulham, but he's been very good overall of late and is racking up the attacking contributions.

Werner I am real fan of and one of the first subs to call upon, with his pace, movement and directness.
Yep, also came in here to post this.
With the current erratic performances, especially from all the midfielders, it's time for Hojbjerg to start. It may only be a game or two, but we need his steadying influence in the middle of the pitch.
Whether Bentancur can get fit enough or Bissouma get his head right in time for this season, who knows? Right now, the back 5 picks itself, but almost any combination in the front 6 is viable. Nice to have that problem to an extent, i suppose.

Based on last game:

Vic
Porro--Romero--VDV--Udogie
Hojberg
Sarr--Bentancur
Deki--Richarlison--Son
Maddison has not been impressive since coming back from injury. Same for Bissouma. I was tempted to put Lo Celso in as well even.

This is basically just who I think deserves to play at the moment. Not many of those who started at Fulham deserve it after that performance.

Could be an ongoing thread depending on how we perform

Would like to see this after the international break

Vic
Porro - Romero-VdV-Udogi
Lo Celso - Bentancur
Maddison!/Deki
Johnson/Deki- Son - Timo
Archibald-CPH, if Gio can stay fit for the remainder of the season, the fluidity him and Rodrigo brought to the Villa home game was a great sight, before Cash's tackle he might have a big part to play in where we finish, as currently we have a few who are out of form

One keeper and ten outfielders. I'm a staunch traditionalist.

Edit to add: I've no idea what our best midfield is but I know that it has Sarr in it and that Son must play centrally when possible.

Weird thread.

Starting 11 needs to be tactically based on the opposition, assuming everyone is fit, so there should be no such thing as a "Starting 11".
