Best new training ground in Europe.
New shiny stadium on the way.
Does business by the book.
We are financially strong.

We are lucky, very lucky. I'm not overly excited by all of our signings, but it's a solid window. Anyone who can sign Lloris for 8 mil is just incredible considering how tough Aulas is.

Support the manager now please.

If only there was a chance of that happening.

why do people keep saying new stadium on the way?? what stadium? yes there are plans but there is no money for one, nothing is being built

to the OP, I hope you're still as optimistic when one of our wide forwards are out injuried, likely lennon as his hams always go and we have no one to cover

but hey, we still have huddlestone to play the modric role! great window!!

Some of the posting on here tonight has been nothing short of embarrassing tbh. I cannot believe how short sighted a lot of spurs fans are, like spoilt children who didn't get what they demanded for Xmas.

I totally agree with OP, we have to e thankful for having a chairman who contrary to belief quite clearly lives and breathes spurs and is trying to create a truly top club. It's just a shame he doesn't get the recognition he deserves for the amazing job he does with such a small budget compared to others.

I think what some people forget is that the money earnt from the deals such as carrick, Berbs, Modric and VDV are all down to levy and his astute eye in the market. And the fact that we have a team competing the way it is is because he has been able to sell and make enormous profit on these players even when they are on strike therefore making your hand weaker!

Thanks DL for what you are doing, I for one fully appreciate the mammoth task you have.

So selling our best players for profit is something we should as fans be happy for? We have no squad depth in certain positions surely that is a priority?

Sorry I've been writing my book without a break all week and treated myself to a day of beer tasting today. Will try to be less positive next time.

Yeah, our club is run well but is our team run well? Looks unbalanced and weaker than it was last season. Clearly we were after a forward, winger and Modric replacment. You don't see other teams having the money in the bank and not being able to spend it on replacments, we all new modric was off and we had plenty of money from the others.

Hope i"m wrong but worried at the moment with the balance of the team, some good buys but pretty shallow in other areas of the team.

There's probably a lot of drunk people on here tonight hence the tantrums. I'm pissed off about VdV, although if he wanted to go we can't really balme anybody except his missus byt the sounds of it. I mean was he really pushed?

greeko, what is it exactly that you want? What is it that all you neggers (as in people who neg, before anyone jumps on me for badly spelt racism) want?

Is it basically to make everyone around you want to slit their wrists? What does your negativity actually achieve? Is it that hard just to have some faith and perhaps share the joy that's supposed to come with supporting your club?

Does it have to be doom and gloom? Does it have to be misery and sourness? Where's the joy of following your club? Isn't that joyful for you? Isn't following Spurs something one is supposed to enjoy?

Indeed, but as they say

" there is none so blind as those that can not see"
It's so depressing. I was looking forward to tomorrow's game but I've just been crushed by the wave of negativity and bile that's just glopped out of my monitor.

Seriously, why do these people bother? Where's the joy? Surely they don't follow Spurs just to complain?

Well that's not anybodies fault, King had to retire, so we've not lost as much as people might think. We've gained god players. Mountinho was a killer though. I can see the frustration as it looked completely on, for what that was worth.

Do not let the kneejerkers put you off, i will be at the game cheering my team on. Unlike some who will be playing on their game pads thinking they know all about the football game.
