Chelsea game in 2016. We were 2 up and totally blew it. We were still challenging Leicester for the title but that draw finished us for the season concluding with the 5-1 hammering from a relegated Newcastle. Cold sweats remembering it. Had we just kept our heads how different things could have been.

That game only confirmed the title for Leicester, they would've won eventually anyway. It was the WBA home game the weekend before the Chelsea game that doomed us.

Most recently. The Leciester game when wr battered them for 89 minutes and they scoredwith their only real chance. That changed the course of the league.

The away game against Benfica in 1962, a draw would have put us in the final & all the reports I've ever seen say that we had 2 nailed on Pens we never got.

Mind you we had a good Greaves goal & a nailed on Pen in the home game that would have given us the same result.

If we'd had got to the final there was a better than even chance we would have become the 1st British team to have the European Cup as it was then. As it was we became the 1st team to win a European competition the following year when we won the Cup Winners Cup.

The Newcastle game at the end of the 15/16 season. Just needed 1 point to finish above Arsenal and then lost 5-1 to an already relegated side. Never been as angry at a match performance than I was at that.

As this is general football and everyone has done plenty of Spurs matches, I will choose the 2014 FA Cup Final. Hull City 2 Arsenal 3. Some terrible refereeing mixed with Arsenal luck won them the game. I don't think I have ever been so disappointed for another team as I was that day.

1991 FA Cup Final.

Yes we won, but I'd give anything to not see Gazza get himself far too riled up & end up breaking the player that lit up the world when he was on his game.

For me I'd measure it on what was reasonably achievable from that match, and how it went.

A lot of these games (e.g. England v Croatia, 2015 Cup final) the team was obviously outclassed and so second best in various areas that I don't think there would likely be any change.

The Portsmouth semi final is one that springs to mind Spurs-wise, but then we'd have had a tough final to come.

Euro 96 semi final though is the one for me. Came down to penalties in the end to split it, after two massive chances to win it in extra time, and the Czech's the opponents in the final with home advantage.

Euro 96 is a great shout. It really did feel like it was coming home that year. I'm just not entirely convinced we'd win if we replayed that match.

I can't agree with this one. As annoying as it was to finish behind Arsenal it didn't really have any long term impact and finishing third rather than second is pretty irrelevant compared to possibly winning a cup or making an international final. Not saying you're wrong, but that particular match just doesn't register that highly for me.

Lasagne-gate.

"You need to assume that the game would then be restarted using the same players who were available for the first match."

Are we assuming that there was an agreement to play the game the following day? Replaying the game with players throwing up on the pitch would probably lead to the same result.

Several of mine have been mentioned above - Coventry final, everton and Portsmouth and Man U semis. So I will go for the Juve home game last season (just the same but with the 5 minutes they scored twice in, taken out)

Ohh, not the biggest one, but losing 3-0 at home to the bubble blowing fuckwits under the bearded fool still pisses me off.

86 World Cup QF.

Hopefully Peter Reid, Fenwick & Butcher would have the sense to chop the cheating **** Maradona down for that second goal & the result would be different.
