So Wanyama. Pointless.

If not signing a CM and then selling Dembele costs us CL it will go down in history as one of the most stupid strategic decisions in football history.

Spurs injury news: Eric Dier (hip flexor) and Harry Winks (groin) – continuing on-field rehabilitation and unavailable for selection this weekend. Serge Aurier (hamstring) – injury sustained on international duty and is currently undergoing assessment.

Arghhh. So much for having a full or near full strength squad for the run in. I fear for us without Winks. He's the only progressive CM we have (unless you count Eriksen, who is not really a CM).

And I'm not particularly enthused about seeing Trippier up against Liverpool's attack either. Sigh.

One of the most stupid decisions this club has made without doubt and there’s been some competition for that!

I think we need to crowd mane out so possibly have Alder/sanchez, Trippier and Sissoko pressing him. Alternatively and I think this is my first choice, its time to risk Foyth in cm but Winks is a huge miss.

Lamela ?

Love the guy but even I’m at the point of thinking his existence with us is pointless.
One point I thought was interesting today - usually when there is a surprise omission from the team due to injury or illness, the team issue a statement on twitter.

Today there was nothing on Lamela - suggesting this may simply have been a coaches decision.

Kane:
Following assessment over the past two days, we can confirm that Harry Kane has sustained a significant lateral ligament injury to his left ankle following a challenge in our Champions League quarter-final, first leg win against Manchester City.
Investigations are ongoing and he will continue to be assessed by our medical staff over the coming week.

Dele:
We can also confirm that examinations have revealed that Dele Alli fractured his left hand during Tuesday's fixture.
The England midfielder will now be assessed to determine his availability for this weekend's fixture against Huddersfield Town.

I think Dele will play, he is actually crucial to our play thats not to say Kane isnt but Son could deputise. I think Dele provides that extra bite and movement required.

All a bit shit but with Man Shitty they will have known what to expect but with Son and potentially Lucas with Dele and Eriksen, we will bamboozle the fuckers and beat them.

Dropped a bar of soap on his foot apparently.

Only joking.

Dropped the soap in the showers you say

We have to sell Lamela this summer if we can get anything for him. Pointless having a backup who's hardly available when you actually need him.
